I have been part of Dance Specialties since I was 4 years old! I first started assisting at 15 years old and teaching at 18 years old. From a young age, I knew dance would always be a part of my life, and over time, the passion eventually led me to step into the role of studio owner. I truly love creating a positive, welcoming space where every dancer feels like they belong. I’m passionate about teaching dance and love watching my students grow and improve over time. Seeing their confidence and skills develop is the most rewarding part of what I do. I love catching up with my students each week and hearing their stories – it makes our dance family feel even more special!

I’ve been with dance specialties since I was 10 years old. I had previous dance experience but I really started to enjoy dancing when I met Miss Anita and Miss Megan. The way they cared about each individual student and our other adventures outside of the studio made it a comfortable and safe atmosphere that I could never imagine leaving. I enjoy our fun carefree moments the best, when we’re unapologetically ourselves while making memories that will last a lifetime. Being a teacher is one of the biggest honors of my life, getting to see all the kids progress each year is something I never take for granted. Being a part of this wonderful studio, teaching and taking my own classes, has taught me so much and I know I’ll continue to learn more as time goes on.

Dance specialties holds a very special place in my heart not only have I been dancing here myself for 20+ years, but being an assistant teacher here was my first job ever, and I enjoyed it so much that I’ve been doing it for 8 years. Mrs. Megan has granted me the opportunity of becoming an instructor myself and now I get to teach beside her and follow the footsteps of one of my biggest role models. I truly hope that I can inspire and impact your child’s life as much as this studio and the instructors I had did for me.
