Class Tuition & Payments

Monthly Tuition

  • ½‑hour class: $42 per month ($10.50 per class).
  • 45‑minute class: $50 per month ($12.50 per class).
  • Same monthly fee regardless of 3, 4, or 5‑week months, except September.
  • No payment due in June.
  • No refunds for missed classes. Make‑up lessons may be arranged with Miss Megan.

Payment Deadlines & Fees

  • Classes are to be paid in full each month, on the first class of the month, by the 10th.
  • Payments after the 10th incur a $5.00 late fee.
  • Payments can be made in the studio (cash or check) or through the Parent Portal (e‑check or credit card).
  • Online payments include a convenience fee; cash or check in‑studio do not.
  • There is a $30 bounced/check‑return fee.
  • Season balances must be paid in full by June 1st, 2025, to perform in the recital.

Multi‑Class Discount

Discounts are applied per family, based on total classes registered:

  • 3–4 classes: 10% off
  • 5 classes: 15% off
  • 6 classes: 20% off
  • 7+ classes: 25% off

Attire & Shoe Requirements

Classroom Attire
  • Acceptable: leotard (any style), tights (any color), leggings, shorts, tank top or t‑shirt, sweaters (no hoodies).
  • Hair must be pulled up and out of the face.
  • No jeans or jeggings.
  • Please avoid long, loose jewelry that may hang or catch.
Shoe Requirements
  • Ballet: Pink full‑sole leather ballet shoes (pink preferred).
  • Jazz: Black leather jazz shoes (not required in combo classes).
  • Tap: Black tap shoes; velcro preferred for beginners.
  • Hip‑Hop (9+): Black jazz shoes. Under 9 may wear black jazz shoes or ballet shoes.
  • Pointe: Pink pointe shoes (approval required before sewing on ribbons); must be purchased at a dance‑specific store with a fitting.
  • Combo classes (Ballet/Jazz or Ballet/Hip‑Hop): Only ballet shoes.
  • Boys: Black shoes for any style.
  • Hawaiian: No shoes; poi balls and sarong required (poi: $24, sarong: $14).

Costumes, Tights, & Studio Breaks

Costume Fees
  • Costume fees must be paid in full by November 8th, 2025.
  • Starting January 1st, 2026, a $10/month late fee is added per dancer if not paid or arranged.
  • No full refunds after costumes are ordered mid‑December 2025.
  • If a refund is possible, it depends on the costume company’s cancellation policy.
  • Once costumes ship, no refunds.
  • Costume fees are automatically added to November auto‑pay unless you request otherwise.

Estimated Costume Costs

  • 1 subject class: $85.00
  • 2 subject class: $125.00
  • 3 subject class: $165.00
  • Hawaiian/Hip‑Hop Combo: $135.00
  • Tahitian II: $28.00 if it exceeds costume budget.
  • These are estimates; if costs exceed this, we will discuss with parents.
Recital Tights

Recital tights are not included in costume pricing and are available year‑round at the front desk:

  • Child sizes: Footed $12, Convertible $13
  • Adult sizes: Footed $14, Convertible $15
  • Plus sizes: Footed $16, Convertible $17
Studio Vacation Days
  • Halloween: Thu, Oct 31 – Sat, Nov 1
  • Thanksgiving: Wed, Nov 26 – Sun, Nov 30
  • Christmas Break: Sun, Dec 21 – Sun, Jan 4
  • Spring Break: Sun, Mar 29 – Sun, Apr 5
  • Memorial Day Weekend: Sat, May 23 – Mon, May 25
  • Picture Days: 1 Tue & 1 Wed in May 2026
  • Estimated rehearsals: Thu, Jun 4 & Fri, Jun 5
Attendance & Snow Days
  • Arrive on time; notify us (call, BAND, or Facebook message) if you will be late or absent.
  • Essential that students attend regularly so they don’t hold the class back.
  • If a student misses more than 8 classes in the dance year, they may not be allowed to perform in the recital.
  • No make‑up classes for regular absences.

Snow Days

  • Cancellations are announced via BAND, Facebook, and email.
  • If unsure, check one of those sources.
  • We allow 1 snow day for the year; additional snow days may be made up with a class.
